Catherine McCracken, 63, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born on July 15, 1955, the daughter of Harold McCracken and Joan (Gault) McCracken.

She is survived by her mother; sisters, Linda McCracken and Sarah Bowerman; brother, John McCracken; son, Jesse McCracken; daughters, Amanda (Trent) VanAuken, Lachaundra Payne and 10 grandchildren. Catherine was preceded in death by her father, Harold McCracken, son, Toby McCracken and grandson, Tyshawn McCracken.
Catherine enjoyed cooking, watching television, summers at the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a green thumb and liked to have plants around her.

A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, 1:00 pm, with the family receiving friends an hour before the service. Interment will take place in the Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
