Michael Arthur Phillips, 70, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence. He was born on September 9, 1948, the son of Arthur Leonard Phillips and Evelyn (Mays) Phillips.
Mike was a math teacher at Bellevue High School for 34 years before his retirement. He was also an active member of First Wesleyan Church in Battle Creek.
Mike is survived by his Wife of 38 years - Judy Marie (Hancock) Phillips; Three Daughters, Shelly (Craig) Logan, Amy (Bill) McKay, AnnMarie (Patrick) Villareal; Son, Larry Guy Willard; Grandchildren, Andrew, Justin, Abbey, Bailey, Allison, Carson, Jack, Sam and many nieces, nephews and all other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his Father, Arthur Leonard Phillips and Sister, Patricia Phillips.
Mike enjoyed rebuilding computers, playing computer games and watching SciFi. He loved spending time in his yard, and his flower garden, he took pride in taking good care of both. He also loved his cats. His main passion however was spending time with his grandchildren, and making as many memories with them as he could. Mike will truly be missed by those that knew and loved him.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00 am with Darwin Kuhl officiating.
