Obituary for Shirley Lou Wine (Stahl)

Shirley Lou Wine, 82, of Bellevue, Michigan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 4, 2018. She was born on August 28, 1936, the daughter of Frederick Stahl and Viola (LaTourette) Stahl.
Shirley married the love of her life, Gerald Wine on October 7, 1962.
Shirley graduated from Bellevue High School. After high school she attended a Culinary Institute in Ohio. She is a member of the Kalamo United Methodist Church and also the Eastern Stars of Kalamo.
Shirley is survived by her Husband, Gerald George Wine; Three Daughters, Cyndie (Gary) Brininstool of Bellevue, Pam (Richard) Dakesian of Carleton, Christine Wine of IN; Two Sons, Jeff Bailey of TN, Brian (Wanda) Wine of TX; Sister, Penny (James) Clark, 29 Grandchildren and 28 Great-Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Father, Frederick Stahl, Mother, Viola Stahl, Two Sons, Jerry Wine and Bill Wine, Sister, Janie Saide, Sister, Connie Smock and Brother, Rick Stahl.
Shirley enjoyed spending time doing many different activities which included: knitting, crocheting, crafts, painting, baking, and camping. Her favorite past-time however was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After her retirement, she and Gerald worked as work campers, and helped out with the Special Olympics in Texas. She was the head baker for Allen High School in Texas. She worked for numerous restaurants over the years, including managing the cafeteria at Federal Center for the Marriott Corporation.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on October 10, 2018 at 2:00 pm with the funeral service immediately following at 3:00 pm with Pastor Jerry Bukoski, with special words shared by Pastor Bryce Feighner.
Memorials may be made to the Bellevue Memorial Scholarship Fund, Kalamo United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
