Obituary for Dorothy A. Wright (Blowers)

Dorothy A. Wright, 90, of Climax, Michigan, passed away to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Advantage Assisted Living. She was born on December 31, 1927, the daughter of Vernon Blowers and Mary (Fravel) Blowers.
Dorothy married her husband Leo Wright in 1944. She was a very hard working woman and her commitment was shown in her 35 years at Kellogg's. Aside, from her work at Kellogg's, Dorothy and Leo lived their lives working hard on the farm and raising their family to do the same. After her retirement, she fully committed herself to her family. Dorothy took it upon herself to care for the people she loved. She adored her family and spent so much quality time being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She also enjoyed gardening and relaxing among the hard work she put into make their family and their home, flourish. Upon her arrival to the nursing home, she made many friends outside of her family. She was a very giving and kind woman and she will be missed by all those she leaves to cherish her memories.
Dorothy is survived by her two Sons, Larry Wright and Dennis (Judy) Wright; Daughter, Sheri McNichols; nine Grandchildren; Great-Grandchildren; her Sister, Annabelle Thorp, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, 7 Siblings, and her Husband, Leo Wright.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Thursday June 7, 2018, from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. followed immediately by a funeral service starting at 1:00 p.m..
Interment will take place in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
