Jeffrey "KB" Lynn Kidney, 64, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Evergreen Senior Care & Rehab Center. He was born on December 15, 1953, the son of Roy Quinten Kidney and Vergie (Hardesty) Kidney.
Jeff honorably and proudly served his country in the United States Marines in the Vietnam era. He was a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. He volunteered daily at the Haven of Rest to help out those in need.
Jeff is survived by his Son, Jeffrey Allen (Claire) Kidney; Three Brothers, Roy W. (Delores) Kidney, Lewis R. (Christine) Kidney, William D. (Dayle) Kidney; Three Sisters, Alice Barbara (Kenneth) Burdette, Julia Ann (Robert) Miller, Sally (Lester) Packham; Two Special Friends, Ruth Decker and Jamie Schwalm. He was preceded in death by his Father, Roy Quinten Kidney, Mother, Vergie Kidney, Daughter, Nicole Renee Kidney and Sisters, Mary Elizabeth Dilling and Katherine Lee Burchard.
Jeff was a devoted University of Michigan sports fan. It did not matter what sport it was, if it was University of Michigan, he would watch. He also enjoyed watching Red Wings hockey. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping and fishing with his family and his Boo. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
A graveside service will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 12:00 pm.
