Kimberly Ann (Haylock) Johnson, 49, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence. She was born on April 5, 1968, the daughter of David Lee Haylock and Susan Elizabeth (Chalmers) Yancy.
Kim enjoyed drama in high school and frequently talked about the fun things she learned. She also liked Junior Achievement and graduated from Pennfield High School in 1986. She attended Kellogg Community College and began her family.
Kim is survived by her Mother, Susan Yancy; Husband, Dale Johnson; two Daughters, Elizabeth Haylock and Kelsi Johnson; Son, Zachary Johnson; two Brothers, Curt Yancy and Jordan Yancy; two Sisters, Denise Kendall and Lindsay (Haylock) Remmler; Best friends and Sisters, Carrie and Tracy Avery; Grandfather, Sam Haylock and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other loving family. She was preceded in death by her Father, David Lee Haylock, and Step-DAD, Ross Yancy.
Kim absolutely loved to cook and care for her family. They made her entire world go round and she made it a point to plan each party and family event. Kim was an awesome mom and a genuinely kind hearted person. She had a passion for pigs and loved to collect little trinkets of piggies. If she could have had her own little "Babe" she would have. Kim enjoyed movies, reading, watching television, puzzles, and word searches.
