Obituary for Dudley Bushnell Hunt

Dudley Bushnell Hunt, 90, of East Leroy, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Brookdale Battle Creek. He was born on September 9, 1926, the son of Harry Hunt and Bernice (Bushnell) Hunt.
Dudley was an honorable man, he was in the Air National Guard and he served in the United States Army. He worked at Kellogg's for 33 years as a welder along with farming on the side. He was then retired for 31 years enjoying his life and hobbies.
Dudley is survived by his only son, Kevin (Brenda) Hunt of East Leroy, MI; two grandchildren, Branden (Lisa) Hunt, and Krista Hunt; one great granddaughter, Elena Hunt and a host of other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving Wife, Esther Fay Hunt in 2013.
Dudley loved the great outdoors; he enjoyed working outside in the yard and spending time with nature. He was the kindest person and was always willing to help anybody in need, especially his neighbors. He and his wife enjoyed wintering in Florida for about 15 years while they were still able to get around. Dudley had a heart of gold and his memories will be cherished by all those lives he touched through the years.
